Lagos Roots, Paris Dreams

The 22-year-old model grew up in Lagos, where her mother sold clothes and accessories, instilling in her a love for fashion. With thrifted outfits, towering heels and bold Y2K-inspired looks, sourced and curated by her best friend and stylist Debby Fasingha and photographer Odey Ikpa she began filming her strutting through markets and streets in Lagos transforming
everyday sidewalks into her runway.

Rachael’s journey is one of authenticity, She built her own runway before fashion’s gatekeepers thought to open theirs. The resilience in her journey proves that persistence beats privilege and
her rise through representation challenges the notion that fashion’s future is dictated only by Paris, Milan, or New York. Lagos, too, has a voice.

Manifestation Becomes Reality

In July 2026, Rachel recreated looks from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art collection, captioning: “Can we put the girl in actual Chanel?” The video went viral, eventually reaching Chanel’s creative director
Matthieu Blazy, months later who responded with “Everything ❤ ” this was the turning point for Nigeria’s Coolest girl. By October 5th 2026, Rachel was no longer just manifesting—she was
living it. At Paris Fashion Week, she made her runway debut wearing a reimagined tweed suit embodying the brand’s vision of freedom and lightness.

Beyond the Runway

Rachel Ojuromi’s story is not just about fashion—it’s about possibility. She reminds us that manifestation is not magic; it’s vision plus relentless effort. From Lagos streets to the Grand
Palais, she has shown the world that dreams, when walked with courage, can indeed become reality. Through her platform The Process Africa, she spotlights emerging African creatives,
ensuring her rise lifts others. Her success is a declaration: the world’s runway is wide enough for their stride. Signing with agencies in New York, London, Paris, and Canada, she’s now positioned as a global ambassador for African talent.
